Abstract
With the purpose to learn more on the presence of gibberellins in apple tissue, immature seed samples were collected from developing fruits of Red Delicious trees.
The extracted and purified seed samples were analyzed using the gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC- MS) technique.
It was possible to identify gibberellins A1, A4, A9, A12, A15, A17, A20, A44, A53 and iso – GA7.
