Abstract
In order to evaluate the action of application of chemical products on sprout number, stem length and fruit set of Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck cv.
Pera sweet orange tree grafted on ‘Rangpur’ lime (Citrus limonia Osbeck), a field experiment was carried out in Aguaí, São Paulo State, Brazil.
On August 24, September 2 and October 7, Pera orange cultivar trees, six years old were sprayed with Tebuconazole 750 mg.L-1, Benomyl 1000 mg.L-1, Guarany-Response B 4 ml.L-1, Gibberellin 10 mg.L-1 and control treatment.
A randomized complete block design was used with 10 replications and 1 tree plot.

A randomized complete block design was used with 10 replications and 1 tree plot.
Four regions in each tree for the periodical biometrical determinations (0, 68, 209 and 312 days after the last application) were marked.
Differences between mean values were stablished by Ducan’s multiple range tests at 5% level.
Sprays with Tebuconazole increased shoot number.
Leaf spraying with Guarany-Response B also increased shoot and fruit number in ‘Pera’ orange tree.
