Abstract
The rolC gene have been used in our research to modify plant architecture of chrysanthemum.
The rolC gene sequence under 35S promoter on plasmid pPCV002 in Agrobacterium strain GV3101 was transferred in chrysanthemum variety White Snowdon.
One of transformed lines demonstrates dramatic changes in plant size, branching, flowers and petals form.
These plants have dwarf bush habit with smaller flowers in more compact flower stems.
The petals were more wide and their form was changed.
Also dramatic changes was observed in phytohormons content and, especially, in cytokinin:auxin ratio.
