Abstract
The British Bedding & Pot Plant Association (BBPA) is the parent body of an Accreditation Scheme for the bedding and pot plant industry.
Members of this scheme have adopted the name British Ornamental Plant Producers (BOPP).

The Horticultural Development Council financed the initial stages of the scheme, and it is currently audited by ADAS.

The 20 fully accredited members are estimated to represent about 25% of the pot plant growers and more than 20% of the bedding plant industry.

The scheme is not only for large growers, and several smaller growers are already members of BOPP.
