Abstract
Several rates of the Glyphosate were applied on pomegranate trees which were attacked and heavily infested by dodder.
Varying Glyphosate treatments, single or multiple application at 1 ~ 3 /1000 rate selectively killed dodder without causing any visible injury to pomegranate trees.
It is considered that the rate of Glyphosate received by one tree at one growing season must not be more than 3/1000 rate.
It is concluded that initial application of Glyphosate at 2/1000 rate followed by second application at 1/1000 rate after 15 days could be the most appropriate means to selectively eradicate dodder infestations after the parasitic weed has attacked to pomegranate trees.
