Abstract
In Citrus, physiological disorders, such as pitting, puffing or rind stains, significantly reduce fruit quality.
These disorders are related with the loss of water both to the atmosphere and into the tree.
In this article we review the knowledge about the causes, characteristics, water relationships and ways of controlling these disorders.
