Abstract
The use of phytopharmaceutical products, particularly pesticides, is one of the most important crop production factors in the present state of insect control.
In effect, the application of pesticides is a quick and efficient means of reducing or preventing possible losses and of making an investment profitable.
This has led to the widespread use of these products even in less developed agricultural economics.
As a result, pesticides have become a two-edged sword in that erroneous or incorrect application may aggravate the phytosanitary condition as well as provoke phytotoxicity problems or affect the health of the user, pollute the environment or leave high residue levels in the crop.

In view of the above, there is clearly every justification for an approval cheme if the disadvantages arising from the incorrect application of pesticides are to be avoided.
