Abstract
Twenty-four cultivars of tomato were grown at Hammam Al-Alil experimental station for a 3-year period to study plant growth, fruit characteristics, diseases resistance, insect resistance, yield, and laboratory fruit test.
It was found that tomato cv.
Homestead FM and Springset VF gave better results for fresh market growing, while tomato cv.
Roma VF and VF 198 gave better results for processing.
