Abstract
Daminozide applied to apple trees 2 weeks after full bloom (FB) increased the level of cytokinins and decreased auxin in seeds.
The retartant did not alter the gibberellin (GA) or abscisisc acid (ABA) content of seeds, neither did it affect GA levels in shoot tips.

Hormore applications to spurs markedly affected fruit-bud initiation.

In particular, zeatin increased the amount of return bloom.
