Abstract
Celery (Apium graveolens, L.), pepper (Capsicumannum, L.) and tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum, M.) seeds were germinated under optimum controlled conditions of moisture, aeration and temperature.
Various concentrations of the biostimulants: AG-50Y, Cytex, Cytozyme, Agro-lig, gibberellin and others were added to germination columns to determine their effects on germination.
Optimum levels of active biostimulants were used to germinate qualities of seed to evaluate effects of biostimulants applied sequentially in the seed furrow, in the gel for sowing pregerminated seed and as a folier post emergence spray.
The responses of active biostimulants on accelerating germination and early seedling growth of celery, peppers and tomatoes will be discussed.
