Abstract
Different procedures for calculating the minimum germination temperature, using pea (Pisum sativum) as an example, are described.
The different procedures have produced very varying results with temperatures ranging from -1.1°C to 11.7°C. It was therefore important to understand why the different procedures arrived at different results.
Illustrated descriptions are given.
