Abstract
This paper describes a method for measuring the transpiration rate of a greenhouse crop.
It shows how a commercially available balance can be adapted to permit accurate measurement of the transpiration on a time basis of a few minutes.
Of course, such an application, based on a relatively cheap device, is not without problems.
We discuss here some of the problems we had to face and show some of the results we got.
