Abstract
Planned hybridization of quince, which has been conducted in Yugoslavia only at the Fruit and Viticulture Research Institute at Cacak for more than 20 years has resulted in several hundreds of hybrid seedlings.
Some of them were selected as elite ones.
This paper gives a short account of the only quince cultivar released so far in Yugoslavia, ‘Morava’, as well as of four promising hybrids.
