Abstract
20 apple and 9 sweet cherry cultivars, 8 peach hybrids and 4 apricot ecotypes were analysed by peroxidase, aspartate aminotransferase, 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, malate dehydrogenase and glucose phosphat isomerase on starch gel.
Cultivars, hybrids and ecotypes had different number and relative mobility of electrophoretic bands.
Apple cultivars were classified into 17 peroxidase and 8 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase phenotypic groups.
Sweet cherry cultivars were classified into 4 malate dehydrogenase phenotypic groups.
Peach habrids were classified into 4 malate dehydrogenase and 4 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase phenotypic groups.
Apricot ecotypes were classified in 3 malate dehydrogenase, 5 aspartate aminotransferase and 5 peroxidase phenotypic groups.
