Abstract
Estimating the photo-thermal requirements of the successive phases of development, which account for flowers production and earliness of roses.

The major hindrances, with greenhouse studies, are due to – the large variations of temperature T and irradiance PAR,

the close link between T and PAR (the relation Tg = Tb + alpha PAR is highly significative). In order to separate T-and PAR-effects, it is necessary to work in climatic chambers.
