Abstract
Among the numerous viruses infecting garlic (Allium sativum), onion yellow dwarf (OYDV-G) and leek yellow stripe (LYSV-G) potyviruses are prevalent in most producing countries and cause significant losses.
This work demonstrated that clone 211 is quasi-immune when inoculated with OYDV and has a high level of resistance to LYSV. Under conditions of natural contamination, this resistance to both viruses was confirmed.
