Abstract
Shoots rooted well on solid modified MS medium with combination of BAP and auxin IAA or NAA at low concentrations.
After five and seven weeks plantlets were transferred to different substrates.
However, survival was achieved when plantlets were transferred to a mixture of autoclaved vermiculite, perlite, black peat and fine sand (1:1:1:1). Plantlets grew normally without showing any morphological variation.
Plantlets presented good growth elongation when they were watered with a half strength sterile solution of modified MS medium used for the rooting stage.
