Abstract
In the twenty-year period (1956–1975) there was investigated the behaviour of prunes Pozegaca and Stanley on different rootstocks and especially the influence of rootstocks on their vigour, bearing, fruit size and ripening, sugar, acid, pH and soluble solids.
These investigations have shown that Pozegaca gives best results when grafted on Prunus Myrobalan, St.
Julien, Belošljiva and Prunus spinosae, and Stanley on Pr.
Myrobalan and on Belošljiva.
Pr.
Myrobalan requires further selection within its generative population.
