Abstract
Comparative studies of the dynamics of Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe and B content in the leaves and fruits of "Pozegaca" sucker and "Pozegaca" grafted on Prunus Myrobalan were carried out.

Leaf samples for the analysis were taken at monthly intervals, during the growing season beginning in mid-May to mid September (1975–76).

Fruit samples for the analysis were taken simultaneously, except for May when there were no fruit sampling.

The analysis of variance of the tested nutrients content shows the uptake of Zn, Mn, Fe by Pozegaca sucker to be significantly higher than the uptake of Pozegaca grafted on the seedling of P. Myrobalan, whereas in the Cu and B uptake there were no statistically significant differences.

The analysis of variance of the mineral nutrient content of tested plum fruits indicates that "Pozegaca" sucker, in relation to "Pozegaca" grafted on P.Myrobalan has a very significantly higher uptake of Cu, Zn, and Fe, whereas the B uptake was significantly higher in "Pozegaca" grafted on seedling of P.Myrobalan.
No significance was shown up in the Mn uptake.

Analysing the dynamics of several nutrients content it can be stated, with the only exception of zinc, that a progressive increase in the amounts of mineral content in leaves and a decrease in fruits could be established as a rule, as far as this work is concerned.
