CONTRIBUTION TO STUDY OF QUALITY AND ECONOMY OF DRYING OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF PRUNES

Abstract
The studies were performed on the basis of the results of three year experiments with drying of the three variety of prunes (one odmestic – pozegaca and the two introduced – Stenley and Italian prune) at the three types of dryers (two domestic-Chamber types in the prellminary experiment and one tunnel type – Cer, in the next two years). Results of these two years (1974. and 1975.) served for the analyses in the range of the investigation task.
The experiments were performed in the surrounding of Gradacac in North Bosnia.
During the experiment were continually registered data of prune quantity (fresh and dried) temperature, consumpted power, consumpted man’s work and other drying costs.
