Abstract
Soil disinfection has known a fabulous explosion 25 years ago as precultural phytosanitary standard.
During ten years now we have remarked a kind of stagnation, the same stagnation that can be found in the cultural phytopharmaceutics.
To same extent this can be explained by a more critical attitude towards consumption and work.

Agriculture has extended in a period of economic expansion, in which special attention was being paid to effectiveness of phytopharmaceutics, being the result vs. pathogenes and/or parasites.
As in human and animal medicine -look at the recognition procedure in time and costs – today more dedication is claimed while investigating efficiency and side-effects of the products.

We will be so free as to make a closer analysis of these three parameter groups that are integrating with each other, as far as their problems are concerned, in the evolution of soil disinfestation.

Whoever speaks of disinfestation grounds on infestation.
