SOME ASPECTS OF STRAWBERRY FERTILIZING

Since 1982 several trials of strawberry fertilizing have been carried out in the surroundings of Verona and the results of the following trials are reported in this paper:

1. Research about the possibility of replacing pre-plant dressing with several fertirrigations during the vegetative period;

2. Study about the possibility of omitting the pre-planting manuring;

3. Research on the most suitable ratio among the major elements supplied as water soluble or liquid fertilizers;

4. Comparison between fertirrigations carried out in Autumn or in Spring time; research on the suitability of supplying trace-elements by fertirrigations or foliar sprays and on the influence of the time of application.
