Abstract
Trials have been carried out in the Conca d’Oro di Palermo (Sicily-Italy) on "Mediterranean red earths" using cv Sequoia.

Productive capacity of two different propagation materials has been estimated: naked rooted vegetating seedlings and refrigerated seedlings.
The Reaction of the plant has been investigated with two different unit investiments: 6,6 and 13,2 seedlings per sq. m.

The highest unit yields and the highest indexes of earliness of fruit maturing have been obtained by using refrigerated seedlings and with the installation of 13,2 seedlings per sq. m.
