Abstract
This paper presents the suggested medicinal properties and the uses of some plants of Thailand.
Its purpose has been to gather some morphology and content of those plants reported to have medicinal value, for example Ocimumbasilicum is a useful remedy for habitual constipation.
A decoction of leaves of Limnophila rugosa (Roth) Mers. is used as expectorant and externally used as a cosmetic for skin care.
Macerated from leaves of Bixa crel lana L. is used to treat dysentery.
Ipomoea cairica (L) Sweet. is mentioned chiefly as purgative.
And the volatile oil from Piper betle (L) has a bactericidal effect.
