Abstract
Two different substrates have been tested (OM, olive medium, Rugini, 1986; MSl Murashige-Skoog (1962), modified by Fiorino, Leva, (1986) to improve the in vitro establishment of cv Maurino.
The MSl medium was more efficient.
Changes in bud sprouts were tested with exogenous treatment of growth regulators; IBA, indole-3-butyric acid at 10 mg/l is the best for node formation and TIBA, 2,3,6 triiodobenzoic acid at 0.5 mg/l the same for shoot elongation.
The shoots rooted easily with IBA dip method treatment (500 mg/l).
