Abstract
The efficiency of olive trunk suckers control with glyphosate/MCPA was compared to manual control in nine locations of Andalusia.
Olive suckers control was higher with glyphosate/MCPA than with the other manual systems tested.
Vegetative growth and olive yield with the herbicidal treatment, averaging over locations, were 10% and 8.8% higher, respectively, as compared to conventional desuckering systems.
