Abstract
The results of a study on the bioagronomic and technological characters of eleven clones selected from the Nera olive cultivar are reported.
The field comparison, carried out in 1987 and 1988, showed a good vegetative and productive behaviour of all clones, with particular interest for IAM 25b, 31b, 33, 30, 51 and 52 clones.
Regarding fruit characteristics better results were obtained with IAM 25b, 31a, 31b, 30 and 51 clones, while the first evaluation of fruit processing showed the good properties of IAM 25b, 27, 31a, 31b, 52 and 60 clones.
