Abstract
Several weed species in non-tilled olive groves: Lolium rigidum, Coniun maculatum, Sinapis alba, Diplotaxis virgata, Sherardia arvensis, Asperula arvensis, Galium spp., and Malva spp., tolerant to simazine after continuous applications during several years were well controlled with simazine + glyphosate (1 + 0.36 kg/ha) applied in autumn during very early post-emergence of the weeds and with a second application of glyphosate (0.36 kg/ha) 5 or 6 weeks later.
Single application of triasulphuron, at different rates, also provided an excellent control of the cruciferae species.
