Abstract
The chemical protection of urban tree is a real problem for the people responsible for green areas.
The direct introduction of chemical product in the trunk of the tree is really suited to the urban surrounding.
Among the technical described (infusion, injection and implantation), implantation is the easiest to use.
Without trying to summarize the whole existing research, the ability of Acephate implants to protect tree from insect damage is reported.
From this discussion, some improvements are proposed.
