Abstract
Twenty cm-long three to four-eye cuttings could be rooted bi-laterally by applying different hormonal treatments and sticking both ends in rockwool cubes.
They were planted horizontally in a greenhouse in comparison with 20 cm-long cuttings rooted at their basal end and either planted horizontally or vertically.
Traditional 5 cm-long one-eye cuttings rooted at their basal end and planted vertically were also observed.
The production of marketable flowers resulting from these different systems was compared.
The results are discussed in respect to planting scheme, bilateral rootability and plant development.
