Abstract
– NAA x BAP Interaction on in vitro Development of Ginger
The present work evaluated different combinations of NAA (0.125; 0.25; 0.5 mg/L) and BAP (0.5; 1.0; 2.0 mg/L) in the multiplication and development of in vitro ginger plantlets. 30 days after evolutation the characteristics evaluated were shoot and root number, shoot and root size, fresh weight and dry weight of plantlets.
The best combination was 0.25 mg/L NAA combined with 0.5 mg/L BAP, which presented the higher shoot and root number and higher fresh and dry weight.
