Abstract
Plants of chimaeral cultivarsof Dracaena deremensis, D. fragrans and from Cordyline stricta tricolor were established in aseptic cultures from one-bud-explants and from stem pieces.
Axillary buds proliferated in presence of a cytokinin.

The results of these preliminary trials indicate that it should be possible to establish a continuous system of micropropagation.
