Abstract
Low temperature (11–13°C) is a prerequisite for flower initiation of blue cvs.
Statice, ‘Dunkelblau’ and ‘Midnight Blue’. Further development of flowers is favoured by higher temperatures (12–16°C at night and 22–27°C during the day). Daylength does not affect flower initiation but LD promotes the development of flowers.
