Abstract
Bulblet formation of Begonia socotrana, depending on short day, and stem elongation and increasing leaf size in Echeveria harmsii, depending on long days, will be influenced by night break as follows: night break is most effective during 4th to 7th and 10th to 14th hour of a 16 hour dark period and less effective during middle of the night.
In Bryophyllum daigremontianum, formation of plantlets is influenced similarly, although in certain cases the normal response curve was found.
