Abstract
Runner formation in Chlorophytum comosum ‘Vitattum’ can be controlled by photoperiod.
Daylengths ≤12 hours reduced the time required for visible runner formation from 34 weeks (18 hour daylength) to 9 weeks.
Three weeks of 8 hour daylengths was the minimum number of short days required to reduce the days to visible runner formation.
