Abstract
The development and history of system based on a Hewlett-packard 9810 programmable calculator, controlling and logging temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration in 13 greenhouses is described.
Some details of the present system and an outline of the programme operations are given, as well as suggestions for modernisation and improvement.
Programmable calculators now available are suitable for integrated control of a wide variety of greenhouse control systems, and offer flexible accurate control and logging at minimal cost.
