Abstract
At present the energy consumption of horticultural enterprises can be diminished by various efforts as these are the choice of the heating system, double sheltered greenhouses, movable thermal screens and good maintenance of heater and glasshouse.
In the future the use of sun energy and waste water for greenhouse heating will become more important.
Figures and dates for the possible amount of energy saving are shown and a pilot plant for the use of sun energy for the heating at night is described.
