Abstract
Research has been carried out in some Moldovian sweet and sour cherry orchard ecosystems from Iasi and Vaslui counties.
Beetles of Coleoptera species were sampled using either Barber type soil traps or a beating method in sweet and sour cherry orchards in which various control methods had been used.
From the collected material, Coleoptera species were identified and among the most common species were Stethorus punctilum Weisse, Carabus violaceus L., Silpha obscura L., Cymindis humeralis Fourc., Apion atomarium Kirby, Otiorrhynchus ovatus L., Dermestes laniarius Illig., Harpalus calceatus Duft., and Silpha carinata Herbst.
