Abstract
Many factors present during the storage period have an influence on growth and yield, one of them being temperature.
Experiments have demonstrated an important relationship between storage temperatures on the one hand and, on the other, growth and development and thus on the yield.
In particular there were found to be effects on emergence, flowering time, flower percentage, leaf area, etc., as well as on the distribution of dry weight to the daughter bulbs, brought about by changes in apical dominance of the A bud.
These effects are discussed.
