SOME MECHANIZATION PROBLEMS IN GREENHOUSE PRODUCTION
- Saving watering
The automatization of watering the plants grown in greenhouse has been designed.
The soil or substrate moisture regulator consists of tensiometric sensiometer, water valve and stearing equipment keeping soil or substrate moisture at required level.
System is efficient and saving water. - The nozzles for liquid fertilizers application on leaves
For saving and efficient spraying the liquid fertilizers on the plants the proper ceramic disks KWP – 1.0 and KWP – 1.5 coated with titanium carbide and thus resistible to decalibration has been worked out; they are useful up to 200 houres giving little drops below 0.3 mm ø. For suspension fertilizers like FloroGama special dilutor with filter used for pulver and granular pesticides has been adapted.
- The deep-plough for greenhouse soils
The special plough for removeing iluvium layer forming of clays and salts in greenhouse soils on some level usually above drainage /especially on heavy soils if drainage does not work well/ after several year of cultivation has been designed.
The deep plough works up to 0.5 m below soil surface increasing water and air permeability and efficiency of soil steaming or chemical disinfection; it does not pull out the illuvium layer on the soil surface.
