Abstract
In dried and grinded tomatoe leaves the total and 2% acetic acid fractions of mineral elements were determined.
The total content of N, P, K, Ca and Mg was determined after a digestion with a mixture of sulphuric and perchloric acid.
The same materials were treated by 2% acetic acid and after 15 minutes of shaking, N-NH4, N-NO3, P, K, Ca and Mg were determined.
In the case of P, K, Ca and Mg it was stated that there is a significant correlation between both methods of the analysis.
The 2% acetic acid extracted the following per cent of mineral elements: 81.5% P, 95% K, 55% Ca and 93% Mg.
