Abstract
The optimum storage temperature for bulbs of Nerine bowdenii is 2°C. Higher temperatures reduce flowering percentages.
Planting from January to about June 15th results in flowering from August until the first half of December.
The growth rate of bulbs decreases, the later the planting occurs in the period between January and July.
