Abstract
Growth and yield of ‘Redhaven’ peach was significantly higher after five years in a cultivated orchard middle system than in a an orchard system with bahiagrass sod middles.
Rootstock cultivar significantly influenced tree growth, but had less of an effect on fruit production than the orchard middle system.
Fruit production was influenced most by tree size in the first three bearing years.
