YIELD EVALUATION AND SOWING PERIODS IN FOUR CULTIVARS OF HARICOT BEAN (PHASEOLUS VULGARIS L.) IN PROTECTED CULTIVATION

It was carried out in the Experimental Vegetable Garden at Faculty of Agronomy, University of Passo Fundo, in protected cultivation, an experiment to evaluate the interaction period x cultivar and yield of haricot bean cultivars.
The seeds of MANTEIGA MARAVILHA, MACARRAO FAVORITO, PROMO TREPADOR and TALHARIUM cultivars, were compared in an experimental design of randomized blocks withdir split-plot design with four replicates.
The Average were compared by Duncan’s Test 5%.

The most productive cultivars were MACARRAO FAVORITO and PROMO TREPADOR, and the first sowing period showed the best medium yield by cultivars.
