Abstract
As the results of the investigations of five pickling F1 hybrids (ALADYN, HERON, EDYP, PARYS and CEZAR) were developed in 1991. The F1 hybrids are gynoecious with white spines and fruits that do not have the tendency to turn yellow with desirable characteristics for processing and are multiple-disease-resistant.
They also are suitable, as well for dill and salad cucumbers of high flavour quality.
The hybrids have a very high tolerance to downy mildew and are very useful for integrated effective protection with fungicides in suitable condition for disease development.
