Abstract
Shoot topping, leaving at least a 3 m2 canopy surface area per 1 m row and delaying cutting until July (20 days after bloom), did not negatively affect grape ripening of 6 vertically trellised cultivars in comparison with the traditional technique of tying the apical part of the shoot to the highest wire of the trellis.
