Abstract
In a long-term green-covered vineyard light rotary tilling was used to manage the mineralization of nitrogen.
The amounts of mineralized nitrogen in soil samples showed the possibility of using the N-reserves of vineyard soils.
The amounts of leached nitrate increased slightly.
Managing green cover as proposed is a further step to optimize the integrated production of wine grapes and to improve the quality level of wine.
