Abstract
This is a comparative study of different methods of protection used in the area of "El Maresme" and the evolution of the protected crops in the last few years, as well as the future prospects for the area.
Included are some tables on the areas occupied by the various protective structures and their evolution in the last few years, indicating the materials used for their construction and the average cost per square metre.
Also included is a table on the evolution of the protected crops in the last few years.
