Abstract
The effects of ethephon [(2-chloroethyl) phosphonic acid], KNO3 (Potassium nitrate) and TIBA (2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid) and cincturing on flowering and fruiting of litchi cv.
Bombai were investigated over four years in tropical south Bengal.
Cincturing the north and west side shoots showed induced flowering.
KNO3 increased flowering, number of fruits per panicle and yield.
