Abstract
In this work the use of an inoculation tower for resistance screening in rose genotypes was compared to field infection.
Furthermore, a method to evaluate powdery mildew resistance on seedlings in a greenhouse by use of inoculated plants was evaluated.
The resistance of these seedlings in the greenhouse was compared to the field performance of the genotypes in the second year of selection after multiplication of the seedlings.
